The material in these resources would easily cover 4 to 5 lessons over roughly 5 or 6 weeks. This resource would also work very well with the History of Sound in Film-Full Lesson, which details the history of how the sound was introduced and added to films. Moreover, would work really well with “Sound Design in Video Games-FULL LESSON”, a great set of lessons that cover how and why sounds are important to the player’s experiences and what they provide in terms of feedback and game immersion. All material, presentations and worksheets, within this resource has been recently updated and now includes links to online ‘Distance Learning’ versions through Google Slides™. This allowing extra flexibility and continued support if students are learning and engaging from outside the classroom at home. ‘History of Video Game and Music’ presentation covers the development of music written for computer games and how this changed over time with a total of 70 slides. Moreover, there are over 50 embedded videos throughout the lesson linking to YouTube and providing an excellent addition to the resource.
