IB MYP unit planner - Chemical change

(0)
This IB MYP NGSS related unit planner showcases how you can teach using both the IB MYP and the NGSS together. The content for this unit is chemical change and energy with regards to exothermic and endothermic reactions. This unit is aligned with the NGSS as well as the MYP criteria. During this unit students will design / research their own experiments on endothermic or exothermic reactions that they would like to perform. Students will record their work during the experiment, analyse what occurred and why. (Objective B / C). Students will also create a presentation (individually or in small groups at teacher’s discretion) on endothermic / exothermic reactions and how they have impacted on society or in their lives. Particularly with regards to industrial level reactions used in modern manufacturing processes (Objective D).
