Ninth lesson for GCSE AQA Christianity beliefs paper. This lesson focuses on what sin is, its effects on the world and how Jesus’ death acts as atonement for sins. Second lesson in scheme of work focusing on the main beliefs of Hinduism. In this lesson, students are exposed to the beliefs about Shiva, the god of destruction. Students study some of the stories about Shiva and examine the symbolism associated with Shiva. Lessons are designed with non subject specialists in mind to be able to pick up and teach. Relevant information is on screen and task information is one screen also. Lesson includes all relevant resources ready to print. Lessons designed for KS3 but can be adapted up or down to suit ability of students.
