Children love to learn about time. Having mastered o’clock, children then move onto half past the hour. Before completing the activity I suggest lots of practical work on small clocks, getting the children to move the hands. This activity has two sheets, one with missing hands and the other with clocks showing different times for the children to identify – linked to half past the hour.

Children love to play ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf’, so why not start this activity with a game first, but encourage them to make times on clocks before they move.
