Numbers 1-10

Students learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the legends related to this festival.
Students learn to say ‘Happy Mid-Autumn Festival’ in Chinese.
Students colour in the beautiful Moon Goddess - Chang’e.
Students can then draw the cute Jade Rabbit to keep the Moon Goddess accompany. (Note: For younger children, teachers might need to demonstrate drawing a bunny on the board. Students can draw on their worksheet along with the teacher. This can be an optional activity for young learners.)

Students need to interview at least 6 people from their class and record their birthdays in the below table. They need to ask and answer the questions in Mandarin Chinese.

Overview
Check out this collection of creative and fun paper cutting activity! TEN original templates specially designed for 2022, the Year of Tiger. This collection purposefully includes three Chinese characters that are related to the celebration of the Year of Tiger, 寅(yín), 吉(jí) and 春(chūn). Through this activity, children are afforded with opportunities to learn about this Chinese folk art, explore different cultural elements and look at Chinese characters from a fun perspective.
Students’ complete work also makes fantastic bulletin board display! Kids love seeing their work up on the wall, especially as part of the Spring Festival celebration!
