Paper planes are fun to make and fly, so they make a great activity for learning about the science behind flight. This pack contains experiments that illustrate the forces of flight in action, and an interactive visual aid so students can see the forces that act on a plane in a hands-on way.
These activities are cross-curricular as measurement skills are used to record how far the planes fly, and students determine the best unit of measurement. For younger students, the experiment asks them to record distance using their steps.

About the crafts:
Kindness - Children write kindness ideas on each stripe of a rainbow and attach it to a pot of gold. Display phrases: “Brighten someone’s day with kindness” and “A kind act is worth more than gold”.
