Cut out and laminate all the parts and children must read the phase 6 shopping lists and move those items into their shopping trolley.

No-Bot the Robot with no bottom English Plan with grammar warm up slides and resourced lessons.
5 week unit plan on the book No-Bot the Robot with No Bottom by Sue Hendra with the following focuses:
3 weeks on stories with Fantasy Settings
2 weeks on letter writing using No-Bot as the stimulus for the letters.
Write a sentence phonics activity for alternative spellings in Phase 6 suitable for Year 1/2 children not EYFS.
Laminate the sheets and children can write sentences over.
Draw the sentence, draw the subordinate clause.
Students draw the sentence in the first box. Then students must identify which part is the subordinate clause and draw it in the next box.
This challenges and develops an understanding of main and subordinate clauses, whilst demonstrating the impact they have on the meaning of a sentence.
Year 6 Classic Fiction English Unit on the book ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ by L. Frank Baum.
This unit contains detailed lesson plans and resources needed to complete a unit of work on this book.
The unit is based on the children creating a new chapter in the book, where they will design a new character and setting in Oz, which Dorothy will meet as she follows the yellow brick road.
Homophone and near homophone matching cards.
Children are given a range of questions and definitions and the children must try to match the correct homophone. This can be completed as a game or class work.
