This unit is intended to give an overview of pollution and sustainability issues. The issues arising are engaging and relevant to students and hopefully will provide a good “hook”! Skills are predominantly graphical and interpretative. Students are introduced to current environmental issues; climate change, global warming, plastic pollution, renewable energy etc. and so hopefully this will enable students to link Geography to their own lives. Mid-point and end-point assessments with PPP reflection and feed forward activities included.
