Year 4 RE- Jesus as an adult lesson 1
LO: To learn about the choosing of the 12 disciples and the value of friendship.
Introduction to Jesus as an adult. Focus on friendship in the children’s lives before relating to Jesus and his disciples. Activity includes comprehension on Saint Matthew.
Year 2 Geography. Comparing Slough and Bournemouth. Inland and coastal towns.
Year 2 Geography lesson comparing the similarities and differences between an inland and coastal town. Activity- Children to draw a table comparing Bournemouth and Slough. Lower ability children to cut and sort pictures belonging to Slough and Bournemouth.

Change- Money Year 2
Starts with a coin matching activity.
Shows hands full of money and a shop to seaside shop to buy from. You will need to model the calculation after a child has chosen what the class should buy. Purses of money for children to add up and then take away from when they choose an item form the shop.
