This sheet provides a net or development for students to create a small functional pizza box. This can be used as part of a food or graphics lesson or a food lesson. The sheet is A3 size and can be copied onto white card, this gives a good size to actually hold a mini pizza. We have used this in a multi part food lesson in which students can design and make a package and a food product. The sheet gives details of the relevant food packaging information requirements. There is a Youtube Clip On my channel “ Mr Ridley Design and Technology” showing how to assemble the pizza box. Using a Youtube clip this could be used as cover or home learning.

A home learning resource for GCSE D&T involving a brands investigation. This is a major home learning task that covers brands , typically this could be set over a half term as a longer home learning task. This then covers this area which is a GCSE requirement in all GCSE D&T specifications. Included is an A3 worksheet and a copy of an exemplar completed task. Here is a home learning task for students to complete to consolidate their understanding of the process of the conversion of timber. This is a is required for all of the GCSE D&T specifications. this consists of an A3 homework sheet and also an additional A5 support sheet, I have also included the support sheet as an A4 sheet which could be used as part of an accompanying lesson. A set of questions on an A3 sheet based around wood processes, the sheet contains two drawing type questions as these are common in most of the GCSE specifications. this sheet could be used as a lesson covering GCSE D&T generally or as part of a revision study lesson. **Sustainability and the Six R’s for KS3 ** Two worksheets and a lesson starter activity for a single KS3 lesson that covers Sustanable design ansnd the six R’s. These worksheets can be used together with Clips on my Youtube channel . There is a clip explaining the two toothbrushes and also a more general clip expilaining the six R’s. I would suggest starting the lesson off with the Six R’s cilp and completing the starter activity. Then watch the toothbrush comparison and complete the worksheet.

Composite Materails GCSE D&T Question and Walkthrough A GCSE Design and Technology questions on Composite materials, complete with Youtube walkthrough . A4 GCSE type questions and an A5 learning check to use in a subsequent lesson. This is supported by a short walkthrough clip on my Youtube Channel. This would also be of some use for A level product design students.

A level Product Design Modeling and Prototyping Exam Type questions These sheets is about modeling and prototyping. This resource consists of three A3 sheets , with two exam type questions and two sheets of very comprehensive mark schemes which relate to the two questions. These are exam type questions that relate to designers and how they communicate their ideas to stakeholders such as clients. Although the two questions on this sheet paper similar at first glance they both require completely different answers. students can answer questions and use the mark schemes to mark and amend their answers.

This is two A level Product design questions, featuring questions around the subject of Bio-polymers, the topical subject has appeared more frequently recently. This consists of thee A3 sheets one is a question sheet with two longer format questions and the other two sheets contain full marking guidance and tips from the examiner. This then enables students to complete the questions and then ideally peer mark the response. These sheets would be ideal for a stand alone A level question or as revision work.

Three A3 sheets that covers most aspects of plastics for GCSE Design and Technology. These would also be suitable for GCSE engineering or product design students. These sheets comprise mostly of GCSE style questions and are supported by dedicated clips on my YouTube channel “Mr Ridley’s Design and Technology”. These may also be useful for A level product design students to enable them to revisit the subject of plastics. These sheets would also be useful if you wished to compile your own bespoke exam paper for these subject areas.

These are a set of sheets which give detailed instructions and coloured parts which allow students to manufacture a range of battle damaged Warhammer 40K buildings in a few simple stages. This resource comprises three A3 paper building templates and an A4 sheet of propaganda posters. These sheets are supported buy a step by step guide to construction which is available to watch on my YouTube channel. I created these to use with a KS3 Warhammer club but they could be used as a standalone D&T Graphics project perhaps for KS3, there are three building parts to make all of which can be combined to make a 40K cityscape. An set of teaching materials for a complete lesson that investigate the function and sustainability of packaging by making comparisons between two different types of packaging available for clothes washing pods. the sheets contain GCSE style questions relating to the properties of materials and sustainability. This sheet is supported by a YouTube walkthrough of questions and also a clip explaining the packaging of detergent pods. the main sheet is supplied in A3 or A4 format. there is an additional learning check sheet with two sheets on an A4 sheet, which can be used to check unterstaning the following lesson. This resource covers types of production Mass/Batch /One off , for GCSE D&T or perhaps KS3. This comprises an A3 worksheet a A5 Learning check sheet. and an A4 revision question sheet. this sheet was created to Introduce types of production for GCSE D&T. there is a YouTube clip " Methods of production" and also a walkthough clip for the A5 Learning check clip.

This is a 12 page support booklet guides students through the first 6 sheets of the GCSE D&T NEA. Using this booklet enables students to prepare for each sheet of section AO1 of the Coursework folio. I find this is very useful to ensure that students are adequately pre-prepared before they access computers especially if computer access is limited. These booklets can be also used to support home learning and preparation for completing NEA sheets. There is also a checklist for sheets 1-6. I have also added an additional blank front sheet if you would like to add your own instructions.

A set of seven lesson starters based around orthographic drawing. These are supported by YouTube clips of about five minutes. Use these to introduce Orthographic Drawing principles, as standalone starters or as part of a graphics project. These are three to an A4 sheet, they are great for settling a class quickly and moving on to a main part of a lesson. Ergonomics For GCSE D&T A pack of resources covering Ergonomics and Anthropometrics for GCSE Design & Technology. This consists of two A3 worksheets and an A5 learning check which can be completed later to check and consolidate learning.
