Four A3 sheets I created to cover Orthographic Drawing and exploded drawing for GCSE. These sheets should cover the basics that would be useful for student’s GCSE D&T coursework and also the exam. There are three lesson sheets and a Homework. all of the sheets have supporting Youtube tutorials. These are available at Mr Ridley’s Design and Technology Youtube channel. For the second sheet there is the choice of a set of instructional clips or a simple overview clip these could be used for distance learning or a cover lesson.

A set of eight do it now or though the door tasks. These start with more simple tasks and increase in complexity. suitable for starter activities for KS3 or KS4 design and technology lessons. Seven of these have YouTube tutorials showing simply how to do each one. Watching these clips which are 3-5 minute are great as a settler at the start of a lesson. used over a few weeks will build students skills in isometric drawing. these could also be used as a home learning task with the Youtube clip posted into a virtual classroom. I use the TNT isometric as a bonus work.

Zentangle homework KS3 art Three KS3 art homeworks for KS3 art or graphics. three homework tasks on 3 A4 sheets all based on mark making using Zentangle images. these are all supported with a YouTube clip to explain each one to students. these could also be used as cover work as the clips expain clearly how to tackle each task

This project pack contains three food packaging templates for A pizza box, a cupcake box and a triangle chocolate bar These sheets provide a net for development for students to create three small functional food packaging items. This can be used as part of a Design and Technology Graphics or a Food lesson. Each sheet is A3 size and can be copied onto white card, this gives a good size to actually hold a Single Cupcake or mini pizza with the completed packaging. We have used this in a multi part food lesson in which students can design and make a package and a food product. The sheet gives details of the relevant food packaging information requirements. I have also included in this pack an exemplar pizza box as featured in the Youtube clip. There is a Youtube Clip On my channel “ Mr Ridley Design and Technology” showing how to assemble the Cupcake and pizza boxes. Using a Youtube clip this could be used as a cover or home learning task.

A set of A3 worksheets to guide student through the step by step process of creating 3rd angle orthographic drawings. these sheets are supported by dedicated Youtube clips showing each stage of producing these drawings. The worksheets together with the video clips will allow all students to produce high quality outcomes. A suggested model would be to set watching the YouTube clip as homework and use the worksheets as prompts in the lesson where students can use the CAD software.

A pack covering Wood and manufactured Boards for GCSE D&T This consists of two A3 worksheets and two Learning checks sheets. These sheets can be used with the revision Clips on my YouTube Channel. There are also Question walk-thoughs for the learning check questions and some of the worksheets. These could be used in KS4 D&T lessons and would be suitable for online learning. KD fittings and Knock down Furniture for GCSE Design and Technology . An A3 worksheet covering this subject and an A5 learning review sheet. This is linked to two 5 minute YouTube clip on my Channel Mr Ridley’s Design and Technology, one clip covers the worksheet and the other covers the learning review. This is for KS4 GCSE D&T. It could also be used as an introduction to the subject for KS5 product Design students.

Lean manufacturing and Jit for GCSE Design and Technology. This includes an A3 student worksheet, an A5 learning review sheet with GCSE style questions on lean manufacturing and JiT. There is also a link to a 5 min Youtube Clip on my Channel "Mr Ridley’s Design and Technology. In addition there is a 5 min walkthrough of the learning review on Youtube.

This is a pack of Learning check question sheets covering a range of Design Technology subjects. There are three or four GCSE style questions on a sheet and the sheets are arranged two to an A4 sheet making each learning check A5 size. There are 7 different sheets covering, manufactured boards, scales of production, lean manufacturing, wood and metal tools. Each of the learning checks has its own walkthrough on my YouTube channel "Mr Ridley’s Design and Technology. These can be used as a lesson starter or as a learning or progress check.

More experenced teachers will find an off the shelf project ready to deliver . This project can be taught in Non D&T specific teaching areas and covers, Components, resistors, transistors, LED’s, it has been developed to produce a fun and challenging Electronics project for KS3.
