A set of resources where pupils build a lego sleigh and reindeer and have to strap santa and his presents to it (santa is a christmas jelly baby) i will use paper and some blocks to be presents and offer elastic bands and string for harnesses. All lego instructions are included i bought all the lego at the lego store but it could be done with christmas decorations as easily. They will then harness the reindeer (the harness must pull 1kg) and test their fully loaded sled in a wind tunnel (basically a cardboard box and a hair dryer) to ensure that santa can survive. A north pole U certificate is included for pupils who successfully complete the challenges

A set of physics objectives for a number of the OCR entry level science modules. These are designed as a pupil assessment sheet to be stuck in at the start of a module and reviewed half way and at the end of a topic. There is also a small self assessment section where they can record there test result and do a what went well and how they can improve.

A selection of Lego vehicle stem challenges based around building a vehicle to traverse a set distance in the fastest time - it starts basic, then gets pupils to add motors which you can buy separately from the lego store, then builds to manoeuvring around obstacles and looking at safety features, i've also included experiment and evaluation sheets. For this you need some santa's (i used santa babies) then you need 3 long boxes of different lengths and widths these would be the chimneys, pupils could be given elastic bands, string and lego and they have to devise how to get santa down all the chimneys safely. the worksheet is included as well as a north pole university certificate for a reward

A simple lesson about the moon landings for entry level - looks at footage from apollo and gets the pupils to sort evidence into for and against the moon landings then write a conclusion based on the evidence - all resources included

A basic introduction to electricity lesson - can pupils name the electricity symbols, build a simple circuit, and then build the circuits from the diagrams and describe if they work and how to fix them if they dont there are 2 different levels to all the worksheets and all resources needed are included in the lesson

A fun science club/ end of year lesson based around the bad piggies game where pupils create a game level using Jenga blocks and any figures you may have. Then design a lego vehicle to destroy their level - i've included the worksheet i made to go along side the lesson which my pupils really enjoyed.
