a whole lesson booklet on what the best packaging for smarties is, including starter sheet and level ladder. Also has lots of premade nets for pupils to make into different 3d shapes and try them out by putting a trial size amount of smarties in each one, pupils could calculate volume and area of the packets and as an extension activity they could work out which packaging would allow the most smarties to be transported in a packaging box

a lesson plan developed on the digestive system - pupils modelled the digestive system with tights and mashed up biscuits and yoghurt however it could be models made by kids - the groupings suggested are 1 - high ability\n2 - high medium\n3 - low medium\n4-low\nthe lesson is differentiated and has a range of collaborative learning in to cover the digestion objectives it worked well with my classes who really enjoyed the practical part and all made progress in the lesson

A lesson based on kurt vonneguts story graphs - pupils sequence a simple fairy tale then produce their own stoy graph of the key events like the ones shown in the infographic and on the powerpoint - they then learn a little about kurt vonnegut the author before comparing their story graphs with the persons next to them and looking for similarities and differences in the stories as a plenary. they can also identify the main story type

a set of cards that will need laminating (time consuming but when done can be used for a every class) that allow the pupils to choose a football team with a budget, that involves them working with large numbers, they then have to look at statisitcs and pick a statistically good team and see if the prices differ, i did this as a short project but could be extended by enetering both teams into the schools fanatsy football league and seeing which team performs best, you could also look further into sabermetircs (made famous by the film moneyball) and it's use in other sports
