I have been teaching MATHEMATICS (11-16) since 1990. I have regularly been commended on my classroom displays and the quality of my resources as I feel this enriches the student experience.
As a self-taught graphic designer I now produce professional quality materials for our academy/academy chain across all departments including posters/banners and promotional materials. I am currently working on updating some older resources as well as developing new ones!

A comprehensive set of blank templates for you to use in your own documents, Powerpoints and Notebook slides etc. Only a few examples are shown the the image gallery above. You can import a template and resize it to what is required , either a large version or multiples per sheet (if you use the PDF version you can do this in the print settings automatically)
These include.
Different number of spots around a Circle - 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36 , 50 and 72
Let the students investigate different patterns they can make by joining spots up in different ways ( see investigation results graphic)
Different patterns of spots (both blank and numbered):
Based on axes, around different shapes eg triangles, squares, cubes etc.
STARTING INSTRUCTIONS to create some of the more difficult patterns are included as graphics so can be projected onto a white board if necessary.
The colleague who I made this resource for found it useful and said that the students really enjoyed the activity.

CHEMICAL ELEMENTS - MISSING VOWELS QUIZZES
3 double-sided, missing vowel, quizzes based on the 118 chemical elements in the periodic table. Intended to be a FUN activity.
Each one increases in difficulty so you will need to think about which one to present to the students.
CAN BE USED TO TEST WHAT INFORMATION THEY CAN RECALL
and perhaps does not even need to be fully completed.
Have a contest to see which student or group of students can get the most in a set time.
A list of chemical elements in atomic number order.
ALL the vowels have been removed.
A list of chemical elements, in atomic number order.
ALL the vowels have been removed and the remaining
consonants put in alphabetical order.
A list of chemical elements. Initially ALL the vowels have been removed and all the consonants, put in alphabetical order. The results have then been listed in alphabetical order. Can you identify them all, along with their atomic number?
SOLUTIONS INCLUDED
SHAKESPEARE PLAYS - 2 PUZZLES/QUIZES - FIND ALL 38 PLAYS
EACH INDIVIDUAL PLAY IS SHOWN IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER
EACH INDIVIDUAL PLAY IS SHOWN BUT THE VOWELS ARE MISSING
I created this resource just for fun and thought someone out there might find it of some use.
The missing vowels version is a lot easier than the alphabetical order one.
Both will be difficult if you don’t know any Shakespeare Plays.
1008 CROSS MATHS LOGIC PUZZLES
USES ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, MULTIPLICATION and DIVISION
and LOGICAL THINKING SKILLS
Format 1
112 WORKSHEETS with 9 puzzles per worksheet BUT really intended to be cut into strips of 3 puzzles OR individual puzzles to be used as a starter, a part of a lesson or filler activity. Having so many (1008) it means every pupil gets their own puzzle (no copying) but it turns out if they are sat together they all help each other. Each individual puzzle easy to stick in exercise book.
If you use this with one class, say 3/4 lessons on the trot you will get to use 100+puzzles.
WITH small solutions 80 per page
FORMAT 2
A file with all 1008 puzzles as individual puzzles.
get the class to pick a number between 1-1008 and project this onto whiteboard.
Each pupil copies the operators and target numbers onto a blank grid OR the A4 big blank grid (laminated so they can use dry wipe pens) and every one works on the same puzzle.

PRINTING and TILING ADVICE INCLUDED
Also included.
The poster and all the individual artwork use in this resource as high quality PNG and PDF files.'s
This will enable you to print almost any size (use the PDF on really big sizes as you should not get any pixelation at all)
USE with PowerPoints, Notebook files etc
PENTOMINOES - 5x3 GRID CHALLENGE (only 3 pentominoes in each solution)
Find the 7 possible distinctly different solutions, i.e. no reflection or rotation duplicates for fitting 3 pentominoes into a 5x3 grid.
This challenge only needs 8 of the 12 pentiominoes from the set and these are indicated on the worksheet.
This could even be done without having any shapes at all by using the page of blank grids as a ‘working out’ sheet then transferring their final answers on to the worksheet.
This is compatible with my PENTOMINOES - STARTER KIT
The 15mmx15mm shapes will match up with the grid size on the worksheet and sheet of blank grids.
SOLUTIONS and INDIVIDUAL CLIP ART also included
12 TRIPLICATE WORKSHEETS (one for each pentomino shape)
These fit the 15mmx15mm squares from my PENTOMINOES - STARTER KIT that is also free to download)
A set of small grids to use as needed, such as collating results.
Can be done individually to make a display
OR
Small groups could be given a different pentomino shape and asked to work together to find as many solutions as they can in a given time.
OR
A whole class activity working on ONE shape and collectively finding as many different solutions as they can. eg Copy a solution on to one of the small grids and have an area where these can be pinned/stuck so the students would be able to check for duplicates etc
INDIVIDUAL PNG’s and PDF’s of each BLANK TRIPLICATE for use on Powerpoint/Notebook slides etc
There are over 1000 solutions to the entire set so it would be unrealistic to include them.
A logic puzzle based on, and using, PENTOMINOES.
Includes:
Reusable WORKSHEET
ANSWER GRIDS
GRID TO PHYSICALLY LAYOUT THE ANSWERS
SOLUTIONS in B/W and COLOUR
YOU WILL NEED A SET OF PENTOMINOES
IF you do:
The colours used in the WORKSHEET match up with the ones in my other FREE resource PENTOMINOES - STARTER KIT
This resource matches in size with the 15mmx15mm version
I have incuded the PNG for the grid used in this puzzle in case you wish to use it at a different size.
A HIGHLY SCAFFOLDED ACTIVITY in which the students are guided to work in a methodical/systematic way to find the solutions.
Each puzzle is based on a 5x4 rectangular grid that, in most cases, student only have to fit 3 unknown pentominoes in to the grid as one of them is shown in position.
They should be familiar with checking for rotation and reflection symmetry as this is very important.
THis includes:
An instruction sheets.
9 Challenges across 8 Worksheets
Blank Grids
Full solutions in both Colour and B/W
Solutions for each individual pentomino
ALL the artwork I used to make this resource.
Perhaps this could lead to some data analysis work.
I have sets of PENTOMINOES, FREE to DOWNLOAD that match the colours used in this resource
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12501085
ANIMALS 2 and 3 PUZZLES ALSO AVAILABLE
COMPATIBLE with my PENTOMINOES STARTER KIT (15mm version) in both size and colour of pieces which is also available to download for free.
Use the resources to make your puzzles any size.

(eg put a puzzle on a notebook slide along with the 12 pentominoes and manipulate into position)
ANIMALS 1 PUZZLES NOW AVAILABLE - COMPATIBLE WITH THIS RESOURCE
Make a quality set of pentominoes resources for use in lessons.
Included in this starter kit:
A colour set of pentominoes ( each individual square is 15mm x15mm) that you print out, fold and glue. When you cut them out you will get a double sided colour version of each piece. FOR BETTER RESULTS print on 300gsm card if you can or even stick a piece of card between the fold. CUT OUT INSIDE THE BLACK LINES.
A 20mm x 20mm version of the above over two A4 sheets
Black and white versions of both (1) and (2)
4)Two sets per sheet of the black and white version of the 15mm pentominoes but these are not designed to be folded and cut
A SET OF GRIDS that can be used to create basic puzzles
ALL THE ARTWORK I CREATED which includes high quality 300ppi PNG and PDF’s including individual PENTOMINOES for use in your own projects, lessons, PowerPoints and Displays etc
A SURPRISING TRICKY PUZZLE FOR STUDENTS TO BUILD.
Definitely useful for construction skills as well as logical thinking.
SOLUTION INCLUDED as well as a 3D view of a completed dice(the puzzle is still not easy if you show them this, on say, a SLIDE.
Print a set of the nine different cuboid nets.
Construct cuboids
Use the constructed cuboids to to construct the dice.
The usual rules apply i.e. opposite sides add up to 7, so 6 opposite 1 etc
There are 8 variations of dice colour/spot colour.
The red /yellow one is ready to print but to save ink just use the white with black spots version or perhaps the outline version and they could colour in the spots with one of theie choice.
Another step to a solution would be to use the set of completely blank cuboid nets on which the students could draw on the spots , construct a blank dice, take it apart while noting where the various pieces go.
High quality, COLOURFUL PNG and PDF files FOR use in you own documents, PowerPoints, displays and activities etc.
As these are separate files you can make them ANY SIZE you wish, within the limits of what you can print. A blank version of each one is included.
D4 1-4 numbered
D6 1- 6 spots
D8 1-8 numbered
D10 0-9 numbered
D12. 1-12 numbered
D20 1 - 20 numbered
This set of resources can be given as either 4 separate worksheets or cut into strips as 13 individual questions perhaps as a starter activity.
JPEG files included in case you want to use the in your own PowerPoint or Notebook files etc
The GOOD STARTING point is knowing that each dice has a total of 21 spots and calculate the
GRAND TOTAL (bottom right) = number of dice in the box x 21 OR
While the multiplication may be useful it can also be done entirely with addition and subtraction.
The dice boxes have 4, 6, 12, 15 or 35 dice in them.
It could also be a calculator activity.
It is a good discussion point on where to start when filling in the grid.
A lot of pupils will automatically start count the spots on the different coloured dice. However I found that ‘worked backwards’ were a lot more successful.
Checking that the column and row totals all ‘work’ is an essential part of this task.
I would appreciate any comments or feedback you could give via reviews.
I am currently in the process of uploading several DICE related resources which are available now or will be available in the near future.
A COLLECTION OF 10 VERY COLOURFUL WORKSHEETS.
ADDITION and SUBTRACTION PRACTICE over a range of difficulties using most of the DIFFERENT types of DICE you can get.
e.g. D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20 ( the answer totals do not exceed 30 in most cases)
I have based it around a MONSTER theme to link it with some of my other resources.** ANSWER SHEETS ARE INCLUDED**
If you are interested ALL my Monster clipart is available for FREE download
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12474182
THE DICE Clipart i have created will be available soon and will include over** 5000** high quality 300dpi PNG’s and PDF files for use in your own projects, Powerpoint and Displays etc.
Multiplication tables that I have printed back-to-back and laminated.
One side have X ? ( eg 1x2, 2x2, …10 x2) tables
and the other the associated ?X tables( eg 2x1, 2x2…2x10)
My daughter asked me to do these for our 3years 7month old grandson who has developed a particular interest in Maths and particularly number.
He has used them on virtually a daily basis and even at his young age, knows most of his multiplication tables off by heart, which is amazing.
