I have been teaching MATHEMATICS (11-16) since 1990. I have regularly been commended on my classroom displays and the quality of my resources as I feel this enriches the student experience. As a self-taught graphic designer I now produce professional quality materials for our academy/academy chain across all departments including posters/banners and promotional materials. I am currently working on updating some older resources as well as developing new ones!

HALLOWEEN - Spot the Difference (+Answers)

A fun activity to find the 20 differences. Quite challenging. Suggest laminating and using dry wipe markers so can be used again in the future. Could be used as an activity where the students have to write a description of where the differences are.
CHRISTMAS PELMANISM GAME

CHRISTMAS PELMANISM GAME

A PELMANISM GAME with 18 Christmas themed images. The set I have made includes 4 of each image. So 72 cards in total. These can be set out in various configurations 2x36, 3x24, 4x18, 6x12, 8x9 for game play However you will need at least 2 copies of each image you use to make smaller sets PRINTING I have printed them back-to-back on 300gsm A4 card. (but paper will do if you are going to stick them on something else to act as a card back) So you have 9 cards on one side and the card backs on the other. Check your printer settings. Print one side, put the sheet back in the printer the opposite way around and print the card back page. CUTTING OUT I cut them out from the image side, a fraction inside the image design. In this way you should get an even border on the card back side if they have lined up correctly. I have also use a craft corner cutter 4mm , to round off the card corners and put them in plastic cards sleeves to help preserve them and a box to put them in. See IMAGES of my SET

PRIME NUMBERS Less than 10000 POSTER sizes A3, A2 and A1

Choose from A3, A2 and A1 versions of a poster showing all the prime number less than 10000. Will need to be printed and the tiles stuck together for A1 and A2 - instructions included The font size on the A3 version is only 12pt I always think that the white border around the edge to the final poster should be removed (for me, personally, it looks better and you don’t notice the “joins” as much). A2 should be 2 x A3 or 4 x A4 sheets to stick together A1 should be 4 x A3 or 8 x A4 sheets to stick together (depending on your printer settings) Please make a comment/follow so If there are any updates you can be notified. Please feel free to visit my TES Shop for other resources.

Use in a project on the MAYA eg wall display OR a starting point for working in base 20 In this resource there is: An A3 sized poster An A2 sized poster (will need to be tiled - using a reasonable overlap setting will be a good idea) 20 x A5 sized individulal numbers for dislpay with A4 description KEY A set of playing card sized cards that has -the decimal number -the Mayan symbol for that number -the Mayan head GLYPH for that number -and its name (good luck pronouncing them) PLUS All the artwork that I created for this resource so you can use it with your own projects (see zip file) I have included 300 dpi JPEGs and PNG’s but where you can use the PDF version as it can scale without pixelating. (in WORD you have to use INSET > Object) If you do use any of my artwork, please credit it when appropriate. I also have a set of resources showing how to convert Mayan, base 20 numbers into decimal number I WILL BE UPLOADING SOME MORE MATHS RELATED MAYAN RESOURCES AVAILABLE SOON
