A bumper selection of resources to help teach private limited companies and public limited companies. I have included a detailed presentation on the main theory of both LTD’s and PLC’s. The lesson looks at the clear advantage of having limited liability over unlimited liability. The lesson also looks at the clear pros and cons of both types of incorporate companies. I have also included three useful worksheets that can be used straight after the PPT. The first worksheet is a multiple choice quiz covering limited companies. The second worksheet gets students to work out the main pros and cons of different companies. I have also included a bumper worksheet that asks a variety of questions of the various types of business ownership (including sole traders and partnerships). This lesson is perfect for GCSE level Business Studies and could be adapted for A-Level Business Studies.

A nice lesson on a market research - lesson 1 of 3 of my marketing research lessons. The presentation covers market research. The lesson looks at both primary and secondary research and the pros and cons of primary research. There are a number of tasks throughout the lesson. I have also included a really fun starter where students need to underline / highlight all the mistakes on a very poorly made questionnaire - the student who finds the most mistakes wins a prize. I have also included a nice gap fill and exam style question worksheet. The lesson finishes with students asked to create their own questionnaire for Walkers Crisps. Perfect for GCSE Business Studies.

A great and very detailed lesson on calculating cash flow forecasts (could easily be used across 2-3 lessons). This lesson introduces the key theory behind cash flow forecasts and then sets up students to complete a number of blank cash flow flows using the data provided. The lesson also looks at the pros and cons of cash flow forecasts and what a cash flow statement is. A great selection of resource that should make this finance topic easy to understand and engaging. Answers are provided for most of the worksheets. The lesson also includes a 12 month cash flow forecast task - a great activity that can really test a students understanding. Perfect lesson for A-Level Business Studies and Accountancy.
