This Food technology lesson about Food in Australia is perfect for that Emergency lesson to keep your students occupied with meaningful unit related activities. Food in Australia - Find-A-Word (Version 1) Find-A-Word activity with 20 words related to Food in Australia. Food in Australia - Find-A-Word (Version 2) Find-A-Word activity with 20 words related to Food in Australia with an alternative layout to Version 1. It contains the same words for students to search however, the search table is an alternative to the first. Teachers may chose to use “Find-A-Word 1” and “Find-A-Word 2” in the same lesson but providing each second student with the alternative so as to prevent copying etc. Food in Australia - Crossword (Version 1) Cross word puzzle which uses the words previously found in the find-a-word activity. Food in Australia - Crossword (Version 2) Cross word puzzle which uses the words previously found in the find-a-word activity with an alternative layout to prevent students from copying each other if desired. Food in Australia - Term matching activity Food in Australia term matching activity. Students will test their knowledge of terms by matching the term with the definition. Life skills activities Food in Australia - Find-A-Word (Life Skills V1) Find-A-Word activity with 20 words on a smaller area. This resource includes 6 different sheets each depicting an Australian Designer who have made significant achievements in their chosen industry. The worksheets are designed to help students research using the Internet and other sources, gain an understanding of the life of the designer. The activity is intended to be used as a research activity but could also be used as a reading comprehension activity, a homework task, a pre-test of knowledge or a post test to test content retention. There are many other ways that a teacher may be able to use this and similar activities in the TPD store.
