I love to make clear and colourful resources and can't resist using rainbow colours which so often help make learning visually clearer. I'd love to know what you think of what you download and please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any suggestions or requests... I am also available to tutor younger learners online via Sherpa!

Number lines 0 - 10 light blue themed x4 per page, x6 versions

What’s included? x6 ‘Light blue themed’ pages of 0 - 10 number lines. Each version slightly different (with/without vertical number tracks above) x4 number lines per page. All displaying numbers 0-10 All other colours available in my TES shop (also for free) - I know how important colour (and choice!) can be for little learners! Resource layout This download includes x4 number lines per page, each displaying numbers from 0 - 10, all in landscape, PDF format, x6 sheets total. Each page is slightly different. These difference are listed below (top to bottom, in PDF order) - x4 number lines 0 - 10 Blue numbers, black box lines, NO vertical count on/back tracks above x4 number lines 0 - 10 Blue numbers, blue box lines, NO vertical count on/back tracks above (all blue) x4 number lines 0 - 10 Black numbers, blue box lines, NO vertical count on/back tracks above x4 number lines 0 - 10 Blue numbers, blue box lines, blue vertical count on/back tracks above (all blue) x4 number lines 0 - 10 Blue numbers, blue box lines, black vertical count on/back tracks above x4 number lines 0 - 10 Black numbers, blue box lines, blue vertical count on/back tracks above This resource enables learners to count on/back from 0 to 10 and have been designed to make using the number line and counting as clear as possible. The size 50 ‘Sassoon Infant Std’ font makes the numbers easy to read and models good formation of all numerals from 0 to 10. The landscape format and area between each number line provides optimal space for drawing ‘jumps’ between numbers to track counting on and back both above and below each number line. Recommendations Different numbers could be covered to encourage learners to identify which number comes before/next. The black text versions makes this resource easy to photocopy and clear to view if placed under tracing paper to enable learners to practice their handwriting of number formation. Useful for… I hope this resource will be useful to range of educators including parents, support workers, additional and special needs assistants, tutors and teachers. Online learning This PDF has been designed to print and use as practical resource, laminated to enable reuse and displayed as clear reference aid. This resource is also ideal to upload and use in on-line classrooms, such as Sherpa. Important message… ANY issues with any of this please don’t hesitate to let me know - I am happy to make changes AND I am happy to create a new resource if you have an idea just let me know - I’d love to hear from you! Feedback would be wonderful! Thank you!

Addition sums blank Rainbow themed / B&W

(0)
What’s included? x3 sets of blank addition sums, x1 black and white and x2 rainbow themed, portrait orientation, pdf format. Resource layout Size 40 ‘Sassoon Infant Std’ font makes the number signs + = easy to read and the large boxes model a clear layout of the addition process to young learners. The portrait format provides optimal space for each sum, a good sized box enables learners to place small objects and draw these to count and record the total amount. There is a line underneath each box on which to write the numbers. This PDF has been designed to print and use as practical write-on resource, it could be laminated to enable reuse. This resource is also ideal to upload and use in on-line classrooms, such as Sherpa. Recommendations The simple lay out of each (blank) addition sum is an easy to use (and re-use!) resource. Numbers can be written on the sheet (and wiped off if laminated) either in the larger box or on the line underneath each box. Small objects can be placed in each box (I have successfully used small coloured matchsticks with this resource if these are not deemed a choking hazard for your little learner/s). Once the correct number of matchsticks/items have been counted out into the larger boxes (and the corresponding number has been written underneath) the matchsticks/objects can then be moved to the ‘total’ or ‘=’ box to find to whole number (when all matchsticks/objects are combined). The answer to the sum can then be recorded ‘in’ or ‘under’ the large box at the end of the sum (on the right side). The black and white version is ideal for photocopying, the coloured version makes each separate sum clear plus I know how important colour can be for little learners! This PDF has been designed to print and use as practical resource, laminated to enable reuse and displayed as clear reference aid. Useful for… I hope this resource will be useful to range of educators including parents, support workers, additional and special needs assistants, tutors and teachers. Online learning This resource is also ideal to upload and use in on-line classrooms, such as Sherpa. Correcting Sentences, reading and writing

Correcting Sentences, reading and writing

(0)
What’s included? This download includes four A4, portrait pdf sheets to practise reading and writing to correct x8 simple sentences. Every sentence has x3 mistakes to correct. The last two pages are the answer pages - the same sentences with every mistake made clear. Who’s it for? This resource has been designed for early years children, pupils in years one and two as well as older students needing additional learning support. Resource Details Pages 1 and 2 both include x4 sentences, each in a separate box, illustrated with a simple image on the right. Both pages include the same instructions at the top - making it clear to learners that there are x3 mistakes in each sentence and what these mistakes might be. Mistakes may be spellings, capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. There is a clear space for learners to write their name at the base of both pages. The words included and spelling errors make the level of this activity aimed at learners who are learning Phase 5 phonics. Sentences include words containing Phase 5 sounds (ea, ay, a-e, aw, ph) as well as a knowledge of common high frequency words including she, you, his, are, and, said, see, their, not, with, at, the, to, do, that, can, in, loved, dad. The pictures provide clues to assist reading unfamiliar words (e.g. lions, zoo, sheep, lambs, chicken, grapes, bake) to encourage learners to use a range of reading skills when decoding these sentences if they are not at a level to read them on-sight. Pages 3 and 4 clearly show the answers in exactly the same format to encourage learners to be autonomous in checking their own learning. Each mistake is circled in pink and corrected clearly underneath to make clear to learners exactly where and what each mistake was. Doubles to 10 Robots with recap questions

(0)
What’s included? This download includes x9 pdf pages, each featuring x10 robots (x3 black and white versions, x3 black and white with rainbow coloured dots versions and x3 rainbow (coloured) versions). All are in portrait orientation. What’s it for? These resources can be used to introduce learners to doubles and/or consolidate learners knowledge of doubles to 10. Who’s it for? This resource has been designed for early years children, pupils in year one as well as older students needing additional learning support. Resource details This activity has been designed to write straight on. Each page clearly features ten robots with ten recap questions at the end. Each robot’s chest clearly shows one part of each double (in ‘dots’) in order/random order up to 10. Learners complete the other half (of each double) by drawing ‘dots’ e.g. with a thick felt pen onto the space on the right side of each robot’s chest. Learners then write the total number of dots on the line underneath to complete the sentence e.g. ‘Double 1 is 2.’ The robots and questions are both in order and random order - you choose which to use depending on what best suits the needs of your learner/s. Size 16/17 ‘Sassoon Infant Std’ font makes the text easy to read and clearly models the process of doubling numbers to 10 to young learners. The x10 recap questions at the end enable learners to consolidate their ‘doubles knowledge’. In two of the colour version sheets the ‘outline colour’ of each ‘question box’ matches the robot colour - providing a visual link for the learner to check back to each corresponding robot, if needed, before committing to writing answers in the question boxes at the end. There is a clear space at the top of each sheet for learners to write their name and a space to record the number date (top, right).
