This a fun consolidation or revision activity for fractions. Students practice add, subtract and converting between, proper, improper, and mixed fractions to get to the target. Also great for practice with equivalent fractions.
There are 10 puzzles in total, 1 page each with space for workings. 4 are easy, 4 medium and 2 more difficult really good for building fluency. You can also add to the challenge by playing music/having a timer set or split the class and play against each other in teams.

Letsgetfunctional
Here you have a 50 slide functionals skills maths revision bingo game.
There are 45 slides which each have a question and an answer. Question is displayed then the answer will show on the next click of the mouse. There are also 4 slides which contains answer grids. These are designed as bingo boards and have 9 answers on them. Only 2 of them are winning grids. The ones with the answer HMW on them are the winning grids.
All the other slides have 1 red herring which is an answer not present on the powerpoint. The winning slide is at the end you can easily shorten the game by moving the winning slides to earlier on. It is a mixture of L1 and L2 questions.
Questions include, fractions, percentages, converting fractions to percentages, calculation with money and time, mean,median,mode and range, scale, percentage and fraction discounts, area,perimeter and volume, pie charts,probability,imperial to metric, currency conversion, substitute into formula.

This is a bingo game with 20 questions including fractions of amounts, simplifying and writing one number as a fraction of the other.
Also includes 16 answer boards. To win all 20 questions have to be played through. There are 4 winning boards any with 1/4 on them. Powerpoint set up to show the question on one click and the answer on the following click.
Here is a revision task I write to use with my adult groups during revision sessions. They are designed to be completed as independent revision tasks. They are 4 pages long and include the following:
Calculate the weight of the clothes - Convert within metric (grams to KG) and Imperial to metric for L2.
Work out the amount you will get from the clothes.
Work out mean and range of sales (includes median and mode for L2)
Draw a table (L1) and a bar chart (L1 and L2)
Work out the percentage of days sales were over a certain number.

This is a workbook that covers drawing single and double bar charts, Line graphs, scatter graphs and pie charts. It is covers each topic briefly and is good for a revision session or for more able learners as a refresh session. Looks at drawing each of the stated and some interpreting such as using a line of best fit to make predictions. I made this for my revision sessions for functional skills but could also be good to give as homework for GCSE foundation learners.
All on word so you can add to it if you like and an answer sheet is included. (I have used excel to make the graphs for the answer books.

This is a revision session written for functional skills maths L2.
Starter is a BIDMAS recap
The lesson plan is included and it is designed to be used as a carousel. There are 5 activities.
Activity 1 is a tarsia (on PDF) to be used to revise fractions,decimals and percentages, ratio and rounding. There are 24 triangles altogether.
Activity 2 is a formula answer hunt with 12 questions on substitute into formula
Activity 3 is an averages problem solving task about football players average ages - topical for the wok cup.
Activity 4 is about graphs and charts and includes 1 question on bar charts,1 on scattergraphs, 1 on pie charts and an extension tables.
Activity 5 is lock question on measurements. It includes a mixture of questions on solving problems with 2d shape and converting between metric units.
There is also an optional practical measuring activity which can be used in place of some of the measure questions.
All these activites have a challenge extension aswell.

This is a GCSE maths lesson on circles. It includes a work pack and a basic power-point to explain the topics before working through the work pack. You should be able to simply print the work pack in one and off you go. Really minimal planning time needed but still a thorough lesson.
