RS Teacher in an Outstanding comprehensive school in London. All my lessons are always conceptual, accurate in content, challenging and engaging for students. The department is consistently among the best results in the school with strong P8 and attainment scores. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on resources, good or bad, I'm always looking to improve, please review!

I’ve set this up as a carousel lesson, it’s designed to be taught in one big double lesson but you could break it up. There is a worksheet pack and some source material, I also used text books to help them but they could use the internet instead. It covers the prophets named on the AQA Spec.

This large lesson covers both Eids. There are also exam questions included. For Id-ul-Adha I have included some links to environmental ethics, you may not wish to show some of these images to you class or go down that road, but I found my year 10s really got into a debate about whether it was necessary to sacrifice that many animals today.

One of the most misunderstood concepts in Islam. This lesson follows the AQA textbook. The emphasis of the lesson is more on greater jihad and it opens itself up nicely for lots of discussion. there are exam questions at the end.

I focus the majority of this unit on Christianity as there is enough diversity to fulfill the exam requirements. However, it does still include Islam when appropriate. This lesson contains lots of information slides, ideal for home learning/revision. Easily adaptable into active learning strategies for your teaching style.

Natural Moral Law Aquinas Year 12 -13 A Level

A level lesson on Aquinas' Natural Moral Law, originally used as a revision lesson but easily works for a standard lesson, probably enough content to run over 2-3 hours of teaching on. Based on the new AQA A level but caters well enough for previous exam boards specs. Content covers key elements such as: Background/history Key features (absolutist/deontological) Theory - Telos, Eudaimonia 4 Laws Precepts Interior/exterior acts Double effect. PLEASE REVIEW :)
