Year 4 Using standard English forms for verb inflections: PPT Lesson and Assessment
A PPT based lesson linked to the statutory Year 4 word objective requiring pupils to understand the use of ‘standard English forms for verb inflections’. The PPT contains explanation, examples, activities and exercises as well as opportunities for discussion. In addition, a short assessment test containing five SATs style questions linked to the objective is included with an accompanying answer sheet.
Year 3 Prepositions of time, place and cause: PPT Lesson and Assessment
A PPT based lesson linked to the statutory Year 3 sentence objective requiring pupils to understand ‘Expressing time, place and cause using prepositions’. The PPT contains explanation, examples, activities and exercises as well as opportunities for discussion. In addition, a short assessment test containing five SATs style questions linked to the objective is included with an accompanying answer sheet.
Year 3 and 4 Spelling Rules PPT
The spelling rules from English appendix 1 for years 3 and 4 transferred to a PPT. Useful for whole class exploration and discussion. A blank ‘Look Cover Write Check’ sheet is also provided for pupils to practise spellings as needed.
