I am a primary school teacher (mostly KS1) and love creating new resources. Making resources to fit your lessons is time consuming so hopefully you can find something in my shop to create a bit of extra down time.

A fun and engaging card game based on 2D shapes (basic geometry skills). Perfect for a plenary, end of lesson filler, whole class activity or consolidation task.
Each shape is paired with a colour and the words of both the colour and the shape are written on each card to help children with their reading skills.
There are 32 cards - enough for a whole class activity. It can also be played in smaller groups and each pupil is given more than one card, or some can be taken out.
It is a great game for building confidence.
Shapes covered: rectangle, square, circle, triangle, oval, pentagon, hexagon, heart and star.
Your pupils will love this!

A sorting game for pupils to match digits, pictorial representations and numbers as words (0-10). Simply print, laminate and muddle the cards.
Can be used as a follow-on activity for fast finishers or as a supported activity to reinforce number recognition. Great for children who need a little more time to grasp counting in order.
As an additional challenge, pupils can order the sorted piles forwards or backwards.
Take a look at my other resources to reinforce number recognition. This resource can be used independently or as part of a pack.
10 number pictures with corresponding digits and words.
Simply print and go! Hand the document out to your pupils, have them collect glue and scissors and off they go!
Pupils can either just complete the digits, or add on the number as word as an extra challenge.
A great fast finisher activity as no real input is needed. Also great for SEND children to recap their number recognition.

A great game to play with younger children for Anti-bullying week / Odd Sock Day
Simply trim the cards and hand out to children. You can either play a whole class game where children must find their matching sock partner, but beware someone will have an odd sock (unless you choose not to give out the odd sock).
OR, play a snap type game in smaller groups. You could turn over one card at a time or two cards. If the child spots a pair they get to keep them. The winner is the person with the most pairs of socks at the end of the game.
You could also use to aid counting in two’s.
