The difference being is that if a child lands on a snake and they are able to say the phrase describing the picture then they do NOT have to slither down the snake but remain on the square and continue around the board.

A fun activity for young children - making their very own book. Instructions can be given of what colour each picture has to be coloured. Also revises: numbers, names of days of the week and names of food items. When book is completed, children can begin telling the story of the very hungry caterpillar.
