A fun way to learn colours and numbers in French or any other foreign language. Adult gives instruction as to what colour a Mr Men character has to be coloured. Also useful for teaching the body parts, nose and hair and hat. I am currently working with 3 year olds in a nursery and have used these worksheets to teach the expressions: je suis and j'ai. The children have had great fun learning the French names of the Mr Men. If these are of any use to you, please take a brief moment to leave a comment. Your feedback is much appreciated. Merci!

Verbs - Memory Game

Cards need to be printed out twice. I have included 27 verbs. The memory game can be played in several ways. To begin with place cards spread out face down on a table. Pupils turn over 2 at a time. They have to say the infinitive of the verb showing on the card. When they find two that match, they win them. Next when a card is turned over, pupils have to say the je, tu, il, elle form of the verb. This could then be extended to include nous, vous and ils and elles. A further game could be that pupils have to use the verb in a full sentence.
