The questions in this end of unit test resource covers the main components of metal reactivity in IGCSE Chemistry including metal reactivity series, displacement reactions , observations for signs of a chemical reaction , variables when conducting metal reactivity experiments , conditions for iron to rust and preventative methods , Group 1 alkali metal reactivity , reactions with air and water , observations and explaining why reactivity changes on descending the group.
The test is deliberately not extensive yet covers the main components students are likely to be tested on at IGCSE level in this topic. I have also designed and included a grading chart so the teacher can monitor their student’s progress in this topic.
