I am the Head Teacher Of Maria International School Of Bucharest in Romania. I am also very keen at developing different TES teaching resources to discover what works well for different classes. I am constantly looking for new and exciting different ways of presenting and teaching different primary topics, especially maths topics.

I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework.
I always loved using Wigan maths with my class. I have built an entire set of teaching resources around these defunct tests as I think teachers still want to be able to access and use them as a way of preparing for different assessment tests. I have arranged it so you can either let your class do it all at once or the more efficient revision method where you do a question, check the answer as a class and then discuss the different ways of solving the problem.
Are you looking for global warming or climate change presentations? Here is one I made for my own class.
Here is a sample of my work I have done for Climate Change week.
I took a public domain NASA document about climate change and I have changed it into an informative PowerPoint presentation.
If you like this work, then please look at the full version of PowerPoint presentations and colouring pages about climate change and global warming here :- https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-11533172

This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework.
While the Wigan LEA website disappeared, taking all its maths resources with it, I kept a copy and then made a complete set of PowerPoint Maths assessments I want to share with everyone. These would be great for revising for the KS1 SATs tests.
There are two different formats, you can either show them a question, then let them work out the answer and check their answers, or you can show them each question in turn and set them sme time to find the answer and then ask them the next question until you finish the test. I have also included the original test papers for teachers who want to print out all the test papers and answers all in one go.
I hope you find them as useful as I do with my own class.
I have now added a second set of reading posters to join these for Keystage 1 and Keystage 2 students: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/10-free-motivational-reading-posters-for-the-keystage-1-to-keystage-2-classrooms-share-them-today-11174534. Please like them too!

Mental arithmetic tests for Y1 designed to be done fortnightly.
Following the tests, teachers and pupils discuss and compare different strategies used to solve the problems. To date evidence suggests that mental calculations have increased whole school attainment and accelerated pupils' progress. Introduction and project focus.

I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework.
I have always used the Wigan Maths Tests to prepare the students for their final exams. However, I wanted to improve it, so that I could ask a question and discuss the answer directly on the whiteboard and so I rewrote the tests as PowerPoint presentations. The students could do it together in the classroom or take them home as additional revision.
FREE Jack and the FlumFlum Tree Workbook - 16 Thinking Hat Reading Worksheets Makes Learning Fun!
Jack and the FlumFlum Tree is a fabulous reading resource. I was very surprised when I could not find lots of guided reading resources about it, so I have written 16 Thinking Hat worksheets for this book.
This workbook does not contain any of the original illustrations or text - it is designed to be used with the book rather than as a free replacement.
I would love to have comments from anyone who has successfully used this resource in the classroom.
These tests are set to change every 5 seconds, letting you test either individual children or a whole class at once. You might like to also look at my matching mini origami books which go with this series (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/mini-book-x2-to-x12-multiplication-times-table-tests-4-per-table-11198350) which are designed to make learning time tables more fun.
There are 4 tests per times table, so the children do not know what test you will give them. They are written in PowerPoint so you can easily edit them or change the speed of the tests.
I have spent the summer upgrading and improving all my free teaching resources. I have now added a YouTube video presentation to my well known PowerPoint presentations. This is a great money problem and money solving presentation, with plenty for everyone to do!
FREE Year 3 Maths Lesson - Adding and Subtracting Money (Autumn Term). Perfect for revision, homework, an extension lesson or just for fun.
My first reading pack (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/10-free-reading-posters-for-every-key-stage-2-or-key-stage-3-classroom-download-and-share-today-11173701) has proved to be very popular. I thought I would extend it to also include the Keystage 1 classes. You can also click on the on the little heart on this page to say you like it. Also please leave me a nice comment - it is the nice comments which fuel my motivation to create even more of these fun FREE posters. These posters would be perfect for book week, English Literacy Week, Poetry day or simply as a way of getting children to read more.
Look at the posters and get the children to vote on which posters they find effective. Which were less effective? How could they be improved? I would love to know the students feedback below please!
*Spelling mistake corrected - thanks for the comment below!
This is my editable collection of worksheets for the Snail And The Whale. I also added a .pdf version for those who lack Microsoft Publisher. These worksheets help you teach, but they still let you change anything you like or don't like. I am trying to increase the number of Thinking Hat teaching packs on TES and would love constructive feedback.
I love creating Stickman Story Resources. I have focused on making Red Hat Thinking Worksheets tonight. These focus on the different feelings and emotions the central character have. The children have to match feelings to parts of the book, create a feeling graph and also describe how the character would feel in different circumstances.
I love getting feedback on my work and I look forward to hearing if these worksheets were effect in your classroom.
