These could be used to help revise for the KS1 or KS2 SATs tests, as a resource for a supply teacher or simply as something to do at home. Years ago I wrote a wide range of different Year 3 Maths PowerPoint lessons which followed the Governmental guidelines of the time. Free Year 3 Lessons: The topics covered are… Lesson 1: Y3 1 Autumn Place Values Lesson 2: Y3 2 Autumn Ordering Lesson 3: Y3 3 Autumn Add Subtract Multiples Lesson 4: Y3 4 Autumn Mental Calculations Lesson 5: Y3 5 Autumn Mental Models Lesson 6: Y3 6 Autumn Money Lesson 7: Y3 7 Autumn Adding several numbers Lesson 8: Y3 8 Autumn Add subtract 11 or 9 Lesson 9: Y3 9 Autumn Subtraction Bonds Lesson 10: Y3 10 Autumn Addition on empty line Lesson 11: Y3 11 Autumn Solving Word Problems I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework. Originally, I was asked to send them to some friends, and so I thought I would share them with all the world via TES. Since then they have been viewed over 40,000 times! This is my most downloaded set of presentations I have ever made on TES.

FREE Magic Train Workbook - 16 Thinking Hat Worksheets - Makes Guided Reading A Lot More Fun For All I have decided to build as many Thinking Hat resources as I can for TES readers. I have started by making resources for the fabulous Magic Train book (Published by Barefoot books). I took into account the need for simple text, clear font and I only have used self made resources and public domain resources, I have not used images from the books. I have organised them into sets of three - 3 Red Hat, 3 Yellow Hat, 3 Black Hat, 3 White Hat, 3 Green Hat and 1 Blue Hat. Comments for future improvements welcome.

I love creating Stickman Story Resources. I have focused on making Red Hat Thinking Worksheets tonight. These focus on the different feelings and emotions the central character have. The children have to match feelings to parts of the book, create a feeling graph and also describe how the character would feel in different circumstances. I love getting feedback on my work and I look forward to hearing if these worksheets were effect in your classroom.

I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework. I always loved using Wigan maths with my class. I have built an entire set of teaching resources around these defunct tests as I think teachers still want to be able to access and use them as a way of preparing for different assessment tests. I have arranged it so you can either let your class do it all at once or the more efficient revision method where you do a question, check the answer as a class and then discuss the different ways of solving the problem.

101 KS1 Grammar SATs Revision Worksheets - Perfect for Homework and Revision

(1)
It’s jam-packed from cover to cover with a great selection of photocopiable worksheets. We wanted to provide teachers with a really useful book of no-nonsense grammar worksheets that they can dip into and use in a typical KS1 class. Don't forget to also check out book 2 in the series (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/101-ks1-english-grammar-sat-revision-worksheets-book-2-11189219) It is also ideal for students to work with at home since the answers are all printed at the back. The book is divided into four parts and is graded in difficulty, so that it begins with some basic stuff and builds up to more challenging grammar activities. It features a selection of Essential English worksheets which provide practice for crucial basic areas of knowledge for learners at Entry Level, like using numbers, writing the alphabet, spelling days and months correctly, and so on. If you have already bought this book under the name of "Big Grammar Book 1" then this is a remarketed version and you have already bought it.
