I have collected together 30 high quality, stunning images of waterfalls for you to share with your class. You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different places being shown in each of photos. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about waterfalls. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different types of waterfalls. The students can then discuss if the waterfall is natural or manmade. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

, BGB 2 is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 & 2 (pp.68-69). The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult, while staying in Elementary (A1 / A2) level. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book. English teachers can use big grammar book 2 in class, although it may be better to use the worksheets for homework and let students focus on speaking and listening and group work – producing language – in class. It is ideal for private study – i.e. homework or self-study – and also for use in online lessons. Teachers can adapt the worksheets in this book, and I would positively encourage them to treat many of the pages as templates for producing their own activities. FREE The Magic Train Black Hat Thinking Activities - Problem Solving Has Never Been So Fun! Every day I am trying to add some more thinking hat resources I am making for my class to TES. It has been shown that Thinking Hat Questions promote higher thinking and reading skills in children and yet when it came to actually finding lots of these resources on this website, I could not find any and so I am planning to write worksheets each night and share them with everyone. I would love a review of my work and also any suggestions on what other children's books people would like me to add to this collection.

I have been a keen fan of this book for a long time. I was really excited to see as part of the Open Government scheme, I was able to take this book and make it into something I believe is much more user friendly. When I used the original book with an interactive whiteboard, I was always annoyed at having to skim to the end of the book to show an answer. I wanted it on the next page. In addition, I have now replaced all the pictured with much more stimulating colourful pictures. I have also taken the time to follow the advice of Dudley council and sorted the different problems into age groups and blocks. You will notice there is some repetition of problems both between blocks and in different year groups. The students can try the same problem twice at different times, as this is excellent consolidation. It is also an excellent time to suggest students think about how they could change the problem. How can this be used in the classroom? This could be used as an assessment at the start or the end of a unit. It also could be used as an emergency set of lessons for any teacher while covering another teacher’s maths classes. In addition, it is also an excellent set of resources to prepare for different exams. Look at how the students resolve a problem and identify the different ways different students attempt to answer the same problem. In addition to answering the problems, this is also an excellent time to look into inverse operations. How do we know we have found all the answers? How do we know we have found the correct answer? I have really enjoyed making these mental maths problems a lot more accessible. I have enjoyed teaching them in a wide range of different classes and I hope that you too will enjoy making maths fun.

FREE The Gruffalo Yellow Thinking Hat Questions Make Positive Thinking Guided Reading Fun! The Gruffalo is a really nice, feel good book. It is a great book to explore Yellow Hat Thinking questions to their full. These worksheets let you look at the characters, writing postcards home and of course developing a poster about why you liked this book. All these would make fabulous display materials. I would love to have some feedback from anyone who has successfully used this in their classroom.
