11-page workbook with essential words and phrases on the subject of** food, ordering a meal at a restaurant, fast food (text and questions for discussion), paying the bill.** Varied exercises ensure you don’t get bored learning new vocab! Practise some grammar along the way - Instrumental case with preposition C and a quick revision of adjectives endings depending on the noun gender. Exercises include: multiple choice writing noun phrases in Instrumental case matching the pairs -filling the gaps -categorising words questions for discussion -arranging the phrases in the correct order and making a dialogue -vocab revision and making a dialogue. The exercises can be further adapted: instead of matching English to Russian equivalents students could be shown the phrases only in one language and asked to translate them students could be shown a phrase (e.g. “Can I have a burger, please?”) and asked to give an appropriate reply after reading the text students could write a similar essay discussing favourite foods/restaurants in their country/town or among their friends, etc -to practise the use of adjectives, students could be asked to give 2-3 extra adjectives to go with the given noun (e.g. wine - red, white, rose, alcohol-free) using the words from the exercises students could write their dream menu/ healthy menu/ fast-food menu, etc
