This little song was inspired by Oliver Jeffers book “How to catch a star” .It is about a little boy who is desperate to catch a star. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens! It can be used as a starting point for an Assembly with scope for movement and triangle players. The song has a triangle part that the children are encouraged to listen out for and then play. James passion is dancing. Firstly he wrote poem as to when it all started. Then, he composed a piece of music so that he could choreograph his friends dancing to it. The tempo was too fast so he had to learn to alter it.
