Music Listening Lesson - All I Want For Christmas is You by Mariah Carey
In this pack you will find 3 teaching resources. A powerpoint, a PDF of the powerpoint and a worksheet package.
The powerpoint resource is a good introduction to the song. It includes a starter, 5 fun facts about the song, links to the Youtube clips, 10 listening questions, the answers, YouTube links to other artists who have covered the song, two optional written extension questions and some ideas for practical extension tasks you could do with your students if you wished. A PDF of the powerpoint is included. (10 slides in total).
The worksheets listening exercises:
Page 1 - Teacher copy. It has the full set of lyrics and missing words highlighted, Page 2 student copy - has the lyrics with blank spaces. Students to listen to the song and fill in missing gaps.
