All questions have varying levels of difficulty and are designed to be easily accessible to all pupils, with additional extended answers that will stretch and challenge pupils.

Brand New Resource for teaching the new set work for OCR A Level Music SET WORK 2024
Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major, Op.58
The 26 page resource contains 14 exam type questions (similar in style to Section A of the exam paper), but develops knowledge for Section B. The questions cover the whole of the first movement.

All answers are provided, but these are not exhaustive, particularly in terms of the extension tasks. These are designed to support the essay writing in Section B.

Tests pupils’ knowledge of the 4 different topic areas (Handel anthems, Classical symphony and concerto, Romantic piano music and Romantic requiem). Follows typical questions set by AQA, although these may be a little more difficult than the pupils will come across. There are extension tasks which are designed to be worked through in class, so no answers are provided for these tasks.
All questions are based on the EDUQAS exam style questions and marked out of 10. Please see screenshots for types of questions. The exercises are a combination of the question 10 and 11 on the exam paper (so rhythm and pitch dictation and general musicianship)
