Minka melody and tuned percussion parts
This is a song based on a Ukrainian folk tune but with original words and a second and third part. The melodies can be sung separately or in combination and all three together as a quodlibet. The song is taught on my YouTube video, where there is a full performance and backing track. There are also tuned percussion parts.

Working in pairs, colour each envelope in a different colour. As they listen to the extracts they match up three hearts where the statements describe what is happening in the music. Colour the hearts to match the envelope.

Spring Listening - match and colour activity
Listen to four pieces based on the theme of Spring. First colour each of the flowers in a different colour. Then read the statements and find those that describe the music. Colour the butterflies to match the flowers.
