Mathswizards products have been developed for busy teachers who require well produced material. I worked as a specialist mathematics teacher for over 30 years and I also developed my own Mathswizard clubs for primary aged pupils. The products are mainly Power Points but not exclusively. They are usually games, puzzles and quizzes or activities built around a theme. The Taster products showcase an activity from the full length resource. I have had my work included in the KS4 Maths Boardworks.

A simple animation shows students how to work out vectors if this is new to them. Hot Cross Buns are sold in packs of 3 sizes. Finding combinations of packs up to 20 will solve this problem. In Easter Parade a girl wants to decorate a hat with flowers. But how many will she need? Finally the fox is on the lookout for his lunch. Numbered hens are put into hutches by sorting them into even, prime and multiples of 9. Each round is marked by another team during the quiz and the teacher records t he scores on the score slide using the keyboard. Accessible to years 4.5 or 6. Some groups will need more help than others to complete the rounds. This will influence time taken for quiz. Works well with all pupils using individual whiteboards, then collating answers for team.
