A resource created by multiple teachers to support the delivery of the 2016 BTEC Research Methods Unit. It can also be used for other specifications and subject areas. The lessons contains a starter activity, main content, activities and plenary tasks. This series of lessons includes: Writing an introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results & Discussion using the correct scientific structure. *Please note that the focus for this experiment will be “the effects of energy drinks on 2000m rowing performance”. The information can be easily adapted to other experiments but provides examples for students to understand.
