GCSE Business Enterprise and entrepreneurship revision Game for OCR GCSE (9-1) J204
GCSE Business Enterprise and entrepreneurship revision game for GCSE Business. Uses specialist questions for the OCR GCSE(9-1) J204 syllabus!
What is it?
It’s a great game that fits into ideas for enterprise and entrepreneurship and is fantastic as a revision tool for your students.
The business board will pay you a grant to start your business. Great!
However, they don’t just give grants for any business. In this case, you have to start the business that they say you have to. You’ll start at the start square and work your way clockwise around the board. The player with the most money at the end of the game is the winner. The business board gives you £1000 per month (each time you go around the board in a clockwise motion) to help your business get started.
Ready to go? Let’s get ready for this great revision game.
Business definitions Revision Game for OCR GCSE (9-1) J204

GCSE Business revision Game for OCR GCSE (9-1) J204
Snakes and ladders – but designed for GCSE Business classes.
In a group you will decide who gets to go next!
Each question is drawn from the card deck.
Each participant writes down their answer on a card.
The cards are then shuffled and each person given a card to read at random.
The group puts the cards in order of best – worst answer.
This is the order that the students throw the dice and move around the board.
Data representation: Binary Trees
Teaching Computer Science
This is a fantastic resource that students love! KS3 students love playing the game (iPad App optional) and seeing how computers actually store data. GCSE students get a view of how data is stored on computers, and A-level students learn about an essential part of computing.
The resource comes with a presentation to run through with the students, and a free optional iPhone / iPad app (free with no adverts or tracking and small download size). You could get students to try the App in their own time at home, use iPads in school or just use the worksheets and Powerpoint resources to present a fantastic lesson. You pick which worksheets to run through, you have the tools for a great lesson and can pick the parts you want!
Computer science lessons should be interesting, unexpected and fun. This lesson is all three.
