Students color a girl and a boy, each with different colors. The colors included are red, white, blue, pink, purple, brown, gray, black, orange, yellow, and green.

French Family Cards uses:
1. Classroom games such as Memory, Go Fish, the Flyswatter Game, Slap-jack and more.
2. Individual flashcards that students can use individually or in pairs after writing the English on the reverse. Writing the English can either be done as an in class activity or a homework assignment.

1. 2 pages, each with a 20 card grid and 20 vocabulary words. The 20 card grid fits on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.
2. Grid with blank cards for you to write additional words, if desired.
3. Page with game instructions for several games. These games can be used for other topics or themes in your classroom, as well.

This download contains 3 different versions of a scene containing a house, 2 birds, clouds and the sun. Each contains a word bank with numbers corresponding to the colors of the various images. While the images are the same on all 3, the colors vary from one scene to the next. You can either use all 3 versions on the same day by distributing a third of each to your students or use them on 3 different occasions so students have the benefit of reviewing the colors over an extended period.

Spanish Sports Duffel Bag Sketch and Label - Los Deportes - Students sketch and label a minimum of 10 items that represent sports. The download contains 2 designs of the activity: One with a word bank with 10 sports words to assist students, and one without a word bank. Spanish Stem Change Verbs Matching Squares Puzzle O TO UE - Students assemble a 4 x 4 Spanish/English vocabulary puzzle with 15 common stem change verb infinitives. Just photocopy enough for a class set (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. Distribute to students and challenge them to reassemble the puzzles as quickly as possible. Sample verbs are: dormir, volver, devolver, encontrar, almorzar, poder and more. All verbs are listed along side the puzzle in Spanish and English.
This crossword contains 14 clues for Spanish question words and 11 images for students to identify. Students are instructed to:
1. Write the Spanish translation next to each clue
2. Write a Spanish interrogative under each of the 11 clip art images
3. Complete the crossword

Spanish Three Kings' Day Skit - Speaking Activity - Christmas/Navidad - This is a 2-person, 12 line skit about a mom explaining the upcoming Three Kings Day holiday to her young daughter. The skit contains several useful grammatical structures such as ir a + infinitive, tener expressions, and contains vocabulary and cultural information about Three Kings' Day.

Verbs!Verbs!Verbs! This item is great for introducing new verb infinitives as well as for reviewing them throughout the year. There are 185 infinitive verb slides, 9 category slides to introduce each type of verb and a title slide. Included are ar/er/ir verbs, stem change, irregular yo, irregulars and reflexives. Since the verbs are grouped by type, the presentation can be used all year long! Each slide has the English word, colorful clip art and then the Spanish infinitive comes in on mouse click. Stem change verbs show the type of change, the irregular yo forms show the irregularity and each reflexive verb has the -se in red to make it stand out. In addition to a Power Point presentation, the slides could be printed to put up in the classroom or used as flash cards.
Students respond to 12 "Cómo te sientes cuando..." questions that ask about different situations, such awakening, getting too little sleep, and not being able to eat. There are also 10 clip art images for students to identity. A sample answer key is included, but answers will vary from student to student.

Spanish Greetings Conversation To Put in Order / Greetings Skit - This is an 18-line, 3-person conversation with greetings, introductions, leave takings, plus additional useful language that must be put in order for it to make sense. Additional phrases include te invito, cuántos años tienes, felicitationes, por favor, gracias, de nada, otra vez, vale, and me encanta. The scenario is a meeting of 3 people outside an ice cream parlor. As such, helado, vainilla, chocolate, and fresa are additional vocabulary words used in the dialogue.
The ordering activity can can be completed by students in 2 ways:
1. Simply write the numbers on each rectangle
2. Students can first cut the rectangles and manually put them in order, either on a hard surface, or the pieces can be glued to paper.
Other uses for the activity:
1. After completing the ordering task, students can practice and present the conversation as a 3-person dialogue.
2. The dialogue can be used as a written translation activity.

Spanish Commands Tú Regular and Irregular 4 x 4 Matching Squares - Students assemble a 4 x 4 Spanish/English vocabulary puzzle with 25 different tú commands. Spanish Culture Postcards from Spain Translations - City, Weather and Clothing - This set includes 4 postcards written by Maria about 4 of Spain's great, historic cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Toledo, and Sevilla. Students learn about Spanish culture while they translate them from Spanish to English. They'll discover the treasures of these cities, such as the Prado, El Retiro Park, La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Parque de Maria Luisa, Spain's great artists such as Velazquez, Picasso, El Greco, Gaudi, Miro, Goya, Madrid's Plaza Mayor, and much more. French Easter Prepositions of Location Easter Bunny and Egg
Students fill in the blank with a French preposition for each of the 9 sentences about a bunny's location in relation to an egg or eggs.
A sample answer key is included, but several sentences could have more than one correct answer.

French Halloween Word Wall - This download includes 11 colorful 8 1/2 x 11 printable signs containing 39 Halloween words or phrases for the French or bilingual classroom. Each word has a corresponding clip art image to assist with meaning and enhance the appearance of the sign. Just print, laminate if desired, and hang where students can easily see the word wall.
The word wall is a great student reference and can also be used to present and review the vocabulary.

French Thanksgiving 2 Emergent Reader Booklets - Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing Thanksgiving vocabulary words. Words included are mais, baies, citrouille, indiens, dinde, cerf, and pelerins. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet contain text and illustrations. They then create their own version using the text only template. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the Thanksgiving vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.
Students practice acabar de + infinitive and demonstrative adjectives with Spanish fruit vocabulary. This download includes:
1. 20 short English to Spanish sentence translations with acabar de + infinitive. There are many common ar, er and ir verbs, plus several reflexive verbs. Sample sentences: I just showered. She just worked.

Students love these cooperative learning, hands on vocabulary puzzles! With this activity, they'll practice 14 colors, 3 patterns, and clair and foncé as they assemble a 4 x 4 French/English vocabulary puzzle. All common colors are included, plus argent, bordeaux, doré, and multicolore. Patterns included are à pois, à rayures, and éscossais. There are 20 different words all together. The puzzle contains a list of all words alongside it that can be used as a student reference or bookmark. Also included is a page of tips and suggestions for using the puzzles.
Most words are repeated at least once which makes the puzzle more challenging. The puzzles are great to use for introducing and reviewing vocabulary, and they're also helpful for sub lessons. After students assemble the puzzles, they can use the vocabulary lists to quiz each other on the vocabulary.

This activity includes soy with 16 different descriptive adjectives of people. Examples of adjectives are: feliz, trabajador, perezoso, inteligente, generoso, consentido, guapo, and atlético. Students will practice 3 forms of ser in the present tense with these activities. Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes when asked about statements in each of the 16 boxes. Each box contains 2 short statements. Sample statements are, "Soy inteligente. Quiero ser médico en el futuro." When a student replies yes to the questions, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. The goal is to be the first student to fill the entire bingo grid.
Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to:
1. Write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verbs to the third person.
2. Write an appropriate Spanish descriptive adjective under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.
These are fun activities for students learning ser and descriptive adjectives, and they're also great back to school get to know you / review activities for students with prior Spanish experience.
