Linking nth term rule to linear graphs
This lesson starts with a recap of the nth term rule and then links this to linear graphs.
It is quite an abstract connection and would work better with higher ability groups but can work equally well with lower ability groups if provided with extra scaffolding.

Uses function machines to help with the concept of ‘going backwards’ before moving to an algebraic method got replacing f(x) with y and rearranging.
