This is part of a comic book series: “The Adventures of Captain O’Scampi” This lesson is all about adverbs and friendship. It comes with a comprehensive lesson/s and an activity booklet to go with the presentation. The lesson is introduced by the comic: ‘Captain O’Scampi Meets Schäfi Schafington’. The lesson then contains: reading comprehension, grammar explanation, gap fills, translations, vocabulary learning strategies (flashcards/mindmaps), written task - describe a photo, written 90 word task into a comic strip. This presentation is aimed at students wanting to achieve grade 7 or more in their French GCSE. I have used it for revision sessions. The presentation goes through different grammatical structures, giving an example and an activity for each structure. The final task is a choice of two writing tasks with an example answer.
