GCSE lesson on the topic of healthy living (sub-topic of doctors / saying what’s wrong). In this lesson students learn key vocabulary for body parts and different ailments. The lesson includes a wide range of activities which serve to enhance listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. I have done this lesson many times with my GCSE classes and students always enjoy playing the different games and activities. Also includes printable copy of crossword understanding of key vocabulary in Spanish.

This booklet includes a mixture of questions on the theme 2 of the new GCSE specification: ‘Local, national, international and global areas of interest’ Each question is provided in Spanish with an English translation, and differentiated bullet points showing pupils how they can achieve the highest mark in their responses. This booklet is really useful for partner-based speaking practice, and for teacher-pupil speaking practice. Depending on the amount of time pupils have to prepare answers, this booklet will enable pupils to work on their spontaneity, fluency and accuracy.
