How to streamline your parents' meetings

Before adopting Tes Parents’ Meetings, The International School @ParkCity were struggling with the complexity of booking appointments for their termly parents' evenings. As their school grew, their previously personal systems became too difficult to manage.
Simon Taylor, Head of Secondary explains:
''We had no overview of the system from a leadership perspective, no way of knowing which teachers were having the most meetings, whether we were paying attention to their wellbeing in light of parental demand, and additionally, making changes to a booking was complicated, relying on parents, students and teachers all coordinating in a short space of time.''

When the Covid pandemic meant that in-person parents' evenings weren't possible, the video option was incredibly useful, and the school continues to offer it as an option for some parents’ evenings.
Simon says:
''We continue to offer the video option to parents as an option for some of our PTCs despite life returning to normal. Some parents prefer the convenience of online meetings.''
