Arena Academy

Arena Academy is an inclusive school which provides students with the learning, experiences and opportunities which enable them to develop, succeed and thrive. The school was graded Good in all categories in our recent Ofsted inspection, with the school showing significant improvement since the last inspection, having an ambitious and inclusive vision for the school (Ofsted 2024)

In our Arena Academy, we work collaboratively to give our students the keys to opening the doors of their future careers at University, Apprenticeship, or Employment. Through excellent teaching and learning, opportunities, and enrichment activities, students are developed into well-rounded citizens the community can be proud of. We equip our students with the resilience, confidence, work ethic, and team spirit to succeed in life. Every decision we make is in our students’ best interests.

Our CORE values of Collaboration, Opportunity, Respect and Excellence are at the centre of all that we do. They are embedded throughout the curriculum and in our pastoral care. Our students are encouraged to give 100% in all that they do.

Students are proud to be members of Arena Academy and feel safe within the school. (Ofsted 2024). Through our student leaders and student ambassador programmes students are encouraged to develop their leadership skills and take responsibility for important elements of school life.

Students are provided with many amazing opportunities to widen their horizons outside of the classroom, and all are given the opportunity to attend a residential. Our range of extracurricular activities reflects all aspects of school, including the arts, sciences, and sports.
