Birchensale Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational middle school in Worcestershire serving students from the age of 9-13 years. The middle school is situated in Redditch and has approximately 600 students on roll.
Birchensale Middle School runs a successful breakfast club that was identified as good by Ofsted.

Birchensale Middle School works to ensure that everyone in the school community feels valued, happy and respected and focuses on recognising individual’s talents and skills. The Worcestershire schools aim is to encourage students social, personal, physical and spiritual development. The school wants to provide a caring environment for students to work to the best of their ability. It is important for the school that pupils enjoy learning and it works to provide a varied and enriching curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered, ranging from drama club to music lessons. It’s active school council encourages students to have a voice and practice skills in leadership and teamwork. Birchensale Middle School has received the Sainsbury’s School Games Kite mark Silver, along with the EcoSchools Green Flag, Arts Mark Gold; Effective Practice Award, Healthy Schools Award and the Leading Parent Partnership Award.
