About Ditcham Park School
Ditcham Park School is a co-educational, independent school for children aged 2 ½ -16, located in the South Downs National Park in Hampshire. The pupil roll is around 350.
The main part of the school is a Victorian manor house which, in 1940, was requisitioned by the Royal Navy and used as a convalescent home for sailors. After the war, it became a boys preparatory school run by Douai School Monks. In 1976 Ditcham Park School was founded. The following 40 years saw significant extensions to the school being made, including a technology and arts building, sports hall and new classrooms.
Ditcham Park School has a governing council.

Location
“Much of my academic success is attributable to Ditcham, which gave me the courage to aim high”.
- Past Pupil“School is just like my second home”.
- Pupil“An amazingly good school: the warmth of the staff towards the pupils is a real joy to see. My children are very happy and can’t wait to get to school each morning. Whenever you go into the school, staff and pupils are friendly and polite”.
- ParentI became a Governor because I felt I owed a huge debt of gratitude to school for the way in which two of my children were educated there. I have now been a Governor for over ten years and never cease to be impressed by the quality of the staff and their dedication to the development of individual children. They really do know and understand every single one of their pupils, it's not just puffery.
- Governor“Ditcham Park School is a happy, friendly and successful environment where each pupil from 4 – 16 years is known and nurtured, so that they achieve and exceed expectations in a whole range of academic and extra curricular activities. The school has a vibrant, purposeful atmosphere and the beauty of the views and the location is both uplifting and inspiring”.
