Dixons Cottingley Academy joined Dixons Academies Trust 1 July 2018.

Our mission is to provide an exceptional education for all of our students so that they leave the academy with excellent results and all the tools needed to live happy, successful and purposeful lives. We are passionate about working closely with our parents, staff and wider community to drive this mission and provide the very best outcomes for all of our students.

Being part of the Dixons Academies Trust allows us to work closely with high-performing academies in the city, whilst retaining an independent and unique culture. We define the Dixons Difference as our relentless focus on student achievement, led by highly committed and caring staff. By creating a can-do, independent culture with an emphasis on self-discipline, we prepare our learners for future success in an ever-changing world. We value diversity and cultivate happy schools, based on strong relationships, mutual respect, integrity and honesty.

As Principal of Dixons Cottingley Academy, I believe that all students should receive an educational experience that enables them to learn, grow as individuals and contribute to society, regardless of their backgrounds or starting points.

Our mission is to ensure everyone achieves excellent results, and is empowered to lead a happy, purposeful and successful life.

In order to achieve this, we will work relentlessly with students and parents. This will require tremendous hard work from all as our expectations are incredibly high.

We have a clear set of academy values which we will all adhere to every day. We promise we will do whatever it takes to ensure students achieve and welcome you to join us on our journey.
