Durham Sixth Form Centre (DSFC) is a high-performing, "Outstanding" post-16 provider located in the heart of Durham City. As the lead institution of the Providence Learning Partnership, we are defined by a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the personal growth of every student.

We operate as a unique "mini-university," welcoming approximately 1,800 students from over 60 secondary schools across the North East. Our campus is a distinctive blend of tradition and modernity, featuring our original 1913 building alongside state-of-the-art facilities, including a specialist science wing, a 200-seat theatre, a professional Art Gallery, and a cutting-edge Digital Media Centre.

While our roots are in the sustained success of Durham Sixth Form Centre, we are currently in an era of significant growth.

In collaboration with the Department for Education and Durham University, we are proud to be establishing the Durham Mathematics School—a specialist city-centre provider for elite A level mathematicians, scientists, and computer scientists.

• Applied General Qualifications: Our attainment is ranked in the top 2% nationally, with 93% of students achieving Distinction* or Distinction grades.
