Values and Vision
The school's values are represented by the acronym REACH: respect, enthusiasm, attitude, cooperation and hard work. Its goals are to improve outcomes and quality of learning for pupils; to provide effective leadership and management; to safeguard the welfare of pupils; and to promote good behaviour and personal development. Gladesmore's aspirations are high, and successive, Ofsted reports have shown that students make great progress even from the lowest of starting points and rate it as exceptional overall.
The school is one of very few to have received the Queen’s Award for Service and the Princess Diana Award for anti-bullying. It has actively led a number of initiatives, including Value Life, which tackled gun and knife crime, Everybody Dreams, and a song for London which has been enormously popular making a positive impact in the community.
