Idsall School

Idsall School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary with sixth form in Shifnal, Shropshire. The school has been an academy since 2014, and has on average 1330 students on the school register with 200 in sixth form. The historic market town of Shifnal is a few minutes from Junction 4 of the M54 motorway. The school is within 5 minutes walking distance of the town centre railway station which has excellent transport links from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. The school is located a short distance from Shifnal Primary School. The school motto translates from Latin as ‘from little acorns large oaks grow’. Idsall School was once the nearest secondary comprehensive to Lillleshall FA Academy, and can claim the record for the school to have educated the most England internationals.

The school is proud of its excellent reputation for the high quality of teaching and learning, as well as a friendly and caring approach.

A highly-committed staff team, including teaching and non-teaching staff, put in many extra hours to ensure that their students get an excellent all round education in order that they may achieve their very best and become outstanding citizens.
