ABOUT US

LICS, (Lusaka International Community School), is a dynamic international teaching and learning Pre-K through to A Level School. As a CIE school (Cambridge Assessment International Education), we offer Checkpoint at Year 6 & 9, IGCSE, AS and AL assessments.

LICS is located in the leafy suburb of Roma, Lusaka, and offers a beautiful and secure campus with some of the best facilities in Zambia, including a multi-purpose astro turf, heated swimming pool, theatre, computer suites, science laboratories and bespoke art studio in the secondary school.

In terms of student enrolment, our school offers a caring community atmosphere. We have a beautiful campus, with about 600 learners across the three schools; such is the structure of our facilities and the dynamics of our school.

LICS is proudly accredited with CIS (the Council of International Schools), a member of AISA, (the Association of International Schools in Africa), ISAZ (the Independent Schools Association of Zambia), and ISASA, (the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa).

Through our vision of “Maximising the Potential of Future World Citizens”, we facilitate for our students a world of learning and an education that is rounded and all-encompassing. We offer a strong sporting and activities programme, Zambia’s leading performing Arts Academy, an Award Winning Educational Outreach Programme, an extensive Students Support Services Department and so much more, all of which more can be read about in this website.
