Newcastle-under-Lyme School, which attracts pupils from  Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and Telford and Wrekin, is a co-educational day school for pupils aged 2 -19.

NULS was founded c.1602 and its academic calibre is renowned in the area. NULS regularly tops the county's league table for GCSE and A Level but has also reached the Top 50 and Top 100 Schools at GCSE and A Level in recent Years. NULS holds the highest ratings possible under full ISI Education Quality Inspection, undertaken in March 2020. Our 35 acre site enables the school to benefit from impressive facilities for teaching, learning and extracurricular provision across our Prep and Senior sites.
